My take on Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion.

I had bought this green bottle of Lacto Calamine Hydration Lotion during winters. It has runny consistency and light peach color. One of My friends had suggested this since I have a combination skin. I pick moisturizers very carefully. Because I have many terrible experiences with it. Some of them didn’t hydrate me properly, gives me stretchy feeling and some of them even caused me breakouts. When I first apply this lotion on my face, it gave me smooth feeling. But it didn’t moisturize me. So I tried using it with a drop of olive oil and my experiment went successful. I got soft and glowing skin. The effect lasted for 4 to 5 hours. I don’t have acne so can’t say anything about acne removal.   I even use it as a makeup base sometimes. Once I tried to mix it with my concealer and it gave me smooth finish plus decent coverage. I didn’t expect that it will work so well with concealer. This lotion is perfect during summers at least for my type of skin.

Pros of Lacto Calamine:

  • Moisturizes the skin up to a certain extent.
  • Gives a Matte Finish
  • Perfect  Make Up Base
  • Affordable
  • It didn’t break me out
  • It gets absorbed easily

Cons of Lacto Calamine:

  • Not suitable for Dry skin or Extra Dry skin
  • The screw cap is very inconvenient

Do I recommend this lotion?

Combination and Normal skin girls can try this if they want any change in their moisturizer

Would I repurchase Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion?
